Camping In Heavy Rain And Wind – Hilleberg Soulo Camping

So this trip was my first group camp since December which was a fantastic experience, especially on a hill. 5 of us battled it out on Loudon Hill’s fantastic summit against strong wind and heavy rain. We took shelter behind a tree and thankfully it stayed dry for the evening.

One of the other campers in this group also shares his wild camping experience on YouTube and has a fantastic channel that is definitely worth watching – Monty Outdoors – Check his channel out and help him get the 1K Subs! (

Loudon Hill – 8.4/10 Great wee hill and not too far to walk. A wee bit on the boggy side unfortunately and some will find the steep nature of the hill quite challenging. Also really good for group camping as seen on the video. Easily 10 tents could fit on this hill.
